Trick, Treat, and Museum Minion Madness
Celebrate Halloween Phelps Youth Pavilion style by searching for museum minions! Tours will begin every 15 minutes in the Grand Foyer; reservations are required. All minions will be performed by Black Hawk Children's Theatre. Colorful refreshments and art activities will be "minion-ized" with lots of yellow and blue. Drawing Stories with Ed Emberley Opening Reception
This delightful new exhibit showcases original artwork by Caldecott award-winning artist and illustrator Ed Emberley. Having produced over 100 books throughout his "storied" career, Emberley believes that everyone can learn to draw, and his books have been inspiring the young and the "young-at-art" to do just that since the early 1960's. Dinosaur-Ruckus Exhibit Opening

Currently postponed until further notice. Please keep checking back for more information. Not your typical Easter egg hunt... Go on a dinosaur egg hunt at the Phelps Youth Pavilion! Eggs will be hidden both inside and outside the museum. Participants will paint their very own ceramic dinosaur and have the opportunity to get photos taken with a larger-than-life dinosaur.
